Gasthaus Zum Burgerhof in Mainz

Had ordered via "Mainz-Liefer". Price-performance ratio of the dishes ordered poor. Food tasted like convenience kitchen. Sauces were too sweet and greasy, french fries were saggy, croquettes were dry, goulash felt half gristle. The best were the side salad and the dumplings ... On top was (and unfortunately still is) the menu on "Mainz delivers" out of date. Too little was refunded when changing the order. My husband and I agree: never again Bürgerhof Gonsenheim!

I can recommend the restaurant without any deductions. We were warmly received. The waiting time was acceptable (it was well attended) we had 6 main courses crossed and they all tasted really good. Everything is fine in terms of price. We will definitely come back.

If you like good common German food is just right. The schnitzel and the daily changing lunch menus are really recommended. Price performance top. Daily menu, soup, salad and main course for about 7-9eur. Very nice staff. I like to come here. Thanks for your service, please keep it up. Just enjoyed the fire schnitzel. Something of yummy.

Cozy restaurant, even in stressful moments, when much to do, always very friendly and firm service. Good, good bourgeois food. Tasty freshly tapped Kölsch 😀. Moderate prices. Anyone who comes a little earlier, gets more of a place (always very busy). We always go back!

I have rarely eaten such a great, juicy schnitzel! It is fabulous! I am really excited. The cozy, original atmosphere has also helped that I had a really nice evening. The service is nice, the beer tastes good and the food is first class. What more do you want?

we went there for goose last december because they are one of a few restaurants we found that offer goose breat/legs. they ran out of legs so we ordered breast, which was dry and was really disappointing
